Another goal for this year is to be more creative.  I really enjoy making cards and scrapbook pages and have missed journaling the history of my family through scrapbook pages. 
Over at Scrappin-n-Chattin, I have joined two year long challenges to help motivate me to make creativity a priority this year.  I am taking part in the 52 Week Card Challenge and the 52 Week Scrapping Challenge.  For these, I must make one card and one layout each week.  Here are my entries for week one:

 This scrapbook layout has a one word title, so it will also count for one of the 

monthly challenges where a one word title is required.  

It features many of the wonderful gifts Ashley got at her baby shower for JD.

I made two of these cheery little cards to use as thank you cards 

for Christmas presents I received from Lyle's family.
